Robins Nursery has remained open for children whose parents work on the front line. Staff at the nursery have been keeping the children busy helping them to create a wonderful collection of rainbows. These have been displayed in the windows with messages to thank key workers.
We are doing lots of activities with the children at the nursery to try and keep things as normal as possible. We have been painting and drawing rainbows to thank key workers and hopefully keep everyone’s spirits up.
We hope our Rainbows will put a smile on people’s faces.
We are also sending out activity packs for the children who are not able to attend the nursery due to the COVID-19 closure. We have been uploading videos of the staff reading stories, singing songs and playing games so the children can still see our team’s happy faces.
Unfortunately our visits to see residents at Castle Court Nursing Home, in Chepstow, have been put on hold for the foreseeable future, so we are using Skype for video chats instead.
The feedback we have had from the parents has been very positive.
