The children at Robins Nursery completed 26 laps of the nursery’s large back garden as part of the 2.6 challenge in aid of the London Marathon and to raise money for UK charities.

The 2.6 challenge is for all ages and abilities and involves an activity based around the numbers 26 or 2.6 (Sunday April 26 would’ve been the date of the 2020 London Marathon).

The children at Robins decided to walk around the garden 26 times. They love being active and had great fun completing the challenge. We are so impressed by their dedication.

The children were inspired by 99-year-old British war veteran, Captain Tom Moore, who completed 100 laps of his 25m back garden in Bedfordshire! He raised over £28 million for the NHS!

Captain Tom began raising funds to thank NHS staff who helped him with treatment for cancer and a broken hip, he originally aimed to raise just £1000 but quickly passed his
target!
