This week the children at Robins Nursery have been very busy celebrating the Queen’s Birthday. We have been learning all about the monarchy, making cakes and decorating the queen’s crown with colourful jewels. There was plenty of roleplay and our little princes and princesses put on a fantastic celebration fit for royalty.

The children at Robins Nursery have been busy creating Easter cards and messages for residents at a local care home. Due to lockdown, regular visits to the nursing home are prohibited, so the children sent cards instead. Robins Nursery has remained open for children whose parents work on the front line. Staff at the nursery have been keeping the children busy helping them to create a wonderful collection of rainbows. These have been displayed in the windows with messages to thank key workers.
